Airflow Sciences Corporation is accepting applications for the following position(s):

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide engineering support to solve fluid flow problems in a variety of industries, including Power Generation, Automotive, Food Processing, and Manufacturing.
Time will be split between numerical simulation, testing of physical models, and on-site testing.

Job Requirements

A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with specialization in the fields of fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
Experience in the one or more of the following areas preferred:
- CFD modeling/analysis (preferably with FLUENT)
- Flow measurement techniques
- Data analysis
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Customer service skills including the ability to deal with customers by telephone
A high degree of self motivation.

Duties & Responsibilities

will perform engineering analysis, fluid & heat transfer modeling, testing, and report preparation
design testing and measurement equipment including hardware and software
has significant involvement in selling the company's design, research, or development activities to clients and prospective clients
responsible for proposal preparation, lead follow up, and other sales/marketing activities
attends and presents at industry conferences on the company's behalf in both a technical and marketing role
ensure OSHA and MIOSHA regulations are met with respect to personal safety
participates in training and/or mentoring
supervise up to 10 engineers/technicians

Job Requirements

Ph.D. in aerospace engineering (or related field)
greater than 7 years equivalent industrial experience
Licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan and/or North Carolina
greater than 3 years experience in the sales and marketing of consulting engineering services
greater than 3 years experience as a Project Engineer in the aerospace industry
