The air diffuser shown below was thought to suffer from non-uniform flow due to the central location of the supply duct. The initial simulation showed that the flow distribution was acceptable, but that the flow angularity was not	A flow control device was developed that significantly reduced the flow angularity. A small improvement in the velocity distribution also resulted.
