Automotive
Airflow Sciences' first automotive work involved analyzing external flow over a vehicle, both in a full-size wind tunnel and with CFD flow modeling.
The goal of reducing vehicle drag has become an industry standard, but there are many other applications for flow modeling and testing. Recent projects for the auto industry include:
- Climate control / HVAC improvement
- Manufacturing uniformity
- Wind tunnel aerodynamic testing
- Paint booth design
- Fuel cell cooling
- EV battery cooling
