Basic Oxygen Process Hood
Hoods are used to capture pollutants emanating from many metal processing operations, including smelting and electric arc furnaces. For a basic oxygen process, Airflow Science's simulation verified that increasing the distance between the crucible and the hood would not result in the escape of any carbon monoxide.
