Aerospace
ASC was founded in 1975 for the purpose of applying aerospace analysis techniques to solve flow problems in other industries. We perform modeling and testing services for the aerospace industry at both the component level and for the full system.

Project examples include:
-
V-22 Osprey Cabin Cooling System Upgrade: Contracted by Boeing on behalf of the US Navy, ASC constructed a full-scale mock-up of the V-22’s ducting system in the ASC lab. Read more about how a flow measurement system was used to balance the cabin duct work and how through this testing, additional problems were brought to light.
-
ASC was tasked to conduct a CFD study of the flow around an ejecting fighter pilot. The analysis focused on the lift and drag forces on the pilot’s head and helmet at 700 MPH. Read more about that study here.
