Airflow Sciences completes construction of another large flow measurement tunnel

What's better than a 70,000 CFM air flow measurement tunnel?  Two of them, of course.

Airflow Sciences has built and commissioned a flow tunnel for Stulz Air Technology Systems headquartered in Frederick, Maryland.  Stulz is a global manufacturer of highly efficient temperature and humidity management products and solutions.  The air flow tunnel will be used to measure flows and certify performance of their HVAC products.  The tunnel design is in full compliance with ASHRAE 37 test protocols, and has an overall size of 12'x12'x30'.

This represents the latest of Airflow Sciences’ large tunnels and is a close cousin in design to the 70,000 CFM flow tunnel delivered and commissioned to Q-PAC in January 2026.  Q-PAC, a manufacturer of fan arrays for the HVAC industry, uses this tunnel for product performance certification and R&D of new fan systems.  This 12'x12'x30' flow tunnel meets all requirements of the AMCA 270 and 210 test protocols.
